How to Onboard Sellers Stripe Connect Doesn't Support
Reach sellers outside Stripe Connect's supported regions with familiar onboarding and fast USDC payouts through Zoneless.

One of the most common emails a marketplace receives is: "Stripe isn't supported in my country. How can I get paid?"
The usual answer is not very helpful. The seller cannot join, or they can use the platform but cannot withdraw their earnings. Either way, you lose someone who wanted to contribute to your marketplace.
Why Stripe Connect cannot support every country
Paying sellers through banks is not one global system. Each country has its own banking network, currencies, identity checks, and financial rules. A provider such as Stripe needs the right licences, banking partners, and compliance process for every market it supports.
Stripe Connect's self-serve cross-border payouts currently work between connected accounts in the US, UK, EEA, Canada, and Switzerland.
Stripe also offers Global Payouts in more countries, but only platforms based in the US and UK can use it, and the fees can be high. You can compare them with Zoneless using our fee calculator.
Unsupported countries are costing you growth
Marketplaces grow through their sellers. A creator lists new work, shares it with their audience, talks about the platform online, and brings in buyers who may later become sellers themselves.
Turning that creator away means losing their listings, your share of their sales, and the new users they might have brought with them. If the same thing happens every week, it becomes a real limit on growth.
Pay more sellers with USDC
Zoneless pays sellers in USDC. USDC is a digital dollar designed to stay equal to one US dollar. It is sent over Solana, a network that moves money between wallets in seconds.
With a bank payout, the provider must connect to the banking system in each country and have permission to move money there. USDC does not travel through those local banking systems. It moves over one global network, and a Solana wallet address works the same way wherever its owner lives.
That means Zoneless can send the same USDC to the same kind of wallet anywhere, without building a new payout integration for every country. Sellers can then keep the USDC, spend it, or convert it to local currency using an exchange available to them.
From the seller's point of view, the process is simple:
- They open your hosted onboarding link.
- They connect a wallet, or follow the instructions to create one.
- You send their earnings in USDC.
- They keep or spend the USDC, or use an exchange to withdraw it to their local bank.
The hosted onboarding and seller dashboard follow the same flow as Stripe Connect Express, so sellers get an experience that already feels familiar.

Zoneless also follows Stripe Connect's API. If you already have a Stripe integration, switching your payout flow usually means changing the SDK and a few lines of code. The migration guide covers the differences.
Send payouts in seconds for a fraction of a cent
Zoneless payouts usually arrive in seconds and currently cost about $0.002 in Solana network fees. There is no $2 active account fee, fixed payout charge, cross-border percentage, or currency conversion fee from Zoneless.
The full payout stack is open source under Apache 2.0. You can self-host it, change it for your marketplace, and keep control of your payout infrastructure. Zoneless Cloud is available if you would rather have us run it for you.
74% of PromptBase creators chose Zoneless
I use Zoneless for creator payouts on PromptBase, a marketplace with more than 500,000 users. When eligible creators could choose between Stripe and Zoneless, 74% chose Zoneless.
That surprised me. I expected wallets and USDC to feel unfamiliar compared with a bank payout. In practice, creators cared more about getting paid quickly, avoiding a high minimum balance, and having a payout option that worked where they lived.
You do not need to remove Stripe to offer the same choice. Keep Stripe for card payments and supported sellers, then add Zoneless for USDC payouts. The guide to running Stripe and Zoneless side by side shows how the two can work together.
